What Google says helps local ranking

No secret tricks. Google publishes what matters, and we do that work consistently every week.

“Businesses with complete and accurate info are more likely to show up in local search results.”
Google Business Profile Help1
“More reviews and positive ratings can help your business’s local ranking.”

“Positive reviews and helpful replies can help your business stand out.”

Results vary; Google controls rankings. Google also says “there’s no way to request or pay for a better local ranking.” Local results are based mainly on relevance, distance, and prominence, and no one controls how far a searcher is from you. We don’t promise rankings. We promise the work, done right, and a monthly report that shows it.

What’s included

Google’s own local-ranking basics, done for you

The fundamentals from Google’s guidance, plus the week-in, week-out consistency that’s hard to keep up while you run a business. What’s included depends on your plan; see pricing.

Category audit vs. map-pack competitors

We compare your primary and secondary categories with the businesses that show up in the map pack for your main searches, following Google’s guidance to choose the fewest, most specific categories that describe your core business.

Services & description

We fill out your services section completely and write a clear description of what you do and where, in plain language, with no links or sales promotions (Google’s guidelines don’t allow those in descriptions) and no keyword stuffing.

Attributes, hours & service area

Accurate hours, holiday hours, service areas, and the attributes that apply to you, all checked for completeness.

Photos

A plan for real photos of your work, team, vehicles, and location, added regularly. No stock images pretending to be you.

Weekly Google posts

A post every week about a real service, job, or seasonal tip, written with the service and neighborhood terms your customers search for.

Ethical review strategy

Simple text or email review requests sent to every customer after the job. No incentives, no gating, and no scripted wording, in line with Google’s rules.

Owner replies to every review

We draft a reply to every review, good or bad, that naturally mentions the service and area. Nothing posts until you approve it.

Competitor review-velocity tracking

We track how quickly your top competitors are gaining reviews, so you know the pace you need to keep up.

NAP & citation consistency

We check that your Name, Address, and Phone match across major directories and give you a fix list for mismatches.

Monthly report

What we changed, posts published, reviews and replies, competitor comparison, and the calls, website clicks, and direction requests Google reports in your profile’s Performance view.

Growth & Pro

How we handle reviews (and why it protects you)

  • No incentives. Google doesn’t allow offering payment, discounts, or free goods or services in exchange for reviews.
  • No gating. Google doesn’t allow discouraging negative reviews or asking only happy customers. Every customer gets the same request.
  • No scripted wording. Google says businesses shouldn’t ask reviewers to include specific content. Keywords belong in your owner replies, written naturally, never in what you ask customers to say.
  • No fake profiles or keyword-stuffed names. Google’s guidelines say your business name must match the real world, and adding extra keywords can get a profile suspended.
  • You approve every reply before it goes live.

Google Business Profile FAQ

Can you guarantee I’ll rank #1 or make the map pack?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google says “there’s no way to request or pay for a better local ranking on Google.” Local results depend on relevance, distance, and prominence. Distance from the searcher is outside anyone’s control. We work on what Google says helps: complete, accurate information, a relevant profile, and steady genuine reviews.

How long until I see results?

It varies with your competition, your location, and where your profile starts. Some fixes, like categories, hours, and services, take effect as soon as Google accepts them. Reviews and posts build over time. Your monthly report shows exactly what we changed and what moved, so you can judge for yourself.

Will you write, buy, or filter reviews?

Never. Google’s policy bans paid or incentivized reviews, discouraging negative reviews, and selectively asking only happy customers (review “gating”). Breaking those rules can get reviews removed and profiles restricted. We help you ask every real customer, the same way, with no incentive and no scripted wording.

Do you need my Google password?

No. You add us as a manager on your Business Profile. You stay the owner and can remove us anytime.

Will you reply to reviews without asking me?

No. We draft owner replies that mention the service and your area naturally, and nothing gets posted until you approve it. You can approve each reply or give us standing rules, for example “thank-you replies to 5-star reviews are pre-approved.”

I don’t have a profile, or it isn’t verified. Can you help?

Yes. We’ll help you create and verify it. Google controls verification, and the steps and timing vary by business.

I work from home and drive to customers. Does this still work?

Yes. Google’s guidelines say service-area businesses should hide their home address and set a service area instead. We set your profile up that way.

What’s in the free audit?
